3.16 - CUFF's "Friday the 69th" with Director Alex Montilla

It's CUFF time once again in Calgary! The 23rd Annual Calgary Underground Film Festival runs April 16th - 26th at Globe Cinema, and Craig is passing the time watching some of the films and speaking to their directors.

Today, Craig passes the time with "Friday the 69th" director, writer, editor, producer and star, Alex Montilla. The two discuss making a low budget film all on his phone, bringing comedy & horror together, films that inspire him as well what being in the editing room for movies like "The Muppets" and "Hot Tub Time Machine taught Alex.

"Friday the 69th" has its Canadian premiere on Friday, April 17th.

3.15 - "Palestine 36" with Director Annemarie Jacir

Craig passes the time with writer, director & producer, Annemarie Jacir. The two discuss Annemarie's new film "Palestine 36", the only feature film to be filmed in Palestine in the past 2 years. They cover why Annemarie wanted to cover this story, the journey it took to make it, casting, sharing stories from Palestine and more.

3.14 - Comedy with Susan Serrao

Craig passes the time with comedian, writer, actor, director, producer Susan Serrao. The two discuss the differences between various forms of comedy and what she likes about each one, physical comedy, community and more.

Craig passes the time with the wonderfully talented, Aldona B. of Aldona B. Creatives. The two discuss how she got into publicity, stylist, photography and how they can all be connected. Aldona also shares why using a publicist can be so beneficial and working with different companies including several Calgary based theatre ones. They also discuss Aldona's openness of her RA diagnosis and sharing it with her followers on Instagram.

3.10 - "Botticelli In The Fire" with Ethan Vasquez Taylor

Craig passes the time with performer, Ethan Vasquez Taylor, to discuss the new play "Botticelli in The Fire".

The two discuss the importance of telling marginalized stories, the Calgary theatre scene, getting into character and the all the wonderful things that come with being Queer.
